The Lee Residents Committee is spearheading a project to provide a flagpole near the sunken garden on the seafront in time for the King’s Coronation. We are intending to erect an 8-meter high, quality glass fibre pole, with vandal proof internal halyard for a total cost of £1700. Whilst we do not normally make appeals of this sort, we felt that many of our members may like to make a contribution to its cost. We will have a collection bucket at all our forthcoming events for donations.
